The RENASF is holding, this Wednesday (11/08), a Magna Class of the first group of Professional Doctorate in Family Health, promoted by Fiocruz Ceará and seven other nucleators. The program will be broadcast from 2 pm on the RENASF channel on YouTube.
The first class of the group with thirty doctoral students will be taught by the demographer and professor at the School of Public Health at Harvard University, Márcia Castro. With the theme “From yellow fever to Covid-19: challenges and responses to pandemics in Brazil.
This is the first network doctorate approved by CAPES in the field of collective health. The problems experienced in the workplace are the focus of the intervention and research projects developed, with the aim of improving and strengthening the ESF.
Created in 2009, RENASF aims to promote research and teaching on the theme of family health and related topics, producing knowledge and developing postgraduate teaching activities. Over these 11 years, the Network has trained more than 400 masters in the Northeast Region.
